Signed by Sagan in blue ballpoint along with "With Best Wishes" on the first free end paper. In original dust jacket, now protected, which has some light wear and chipping at the head and tail and corners. Lightly soiled edges. Light page toning to edges of pages and jacket. Former owner's name "L. Larson" written on the half title in small cursive. Otherwise clean throughout. A very good copy of the first edition, with the signature a true collector's item.
