Portland, Oregon: Binfords and Mort, 1947. First Edition. Hardcover with White Boards. A very nice first edition copy of a book about the various settlements along the Willamette River that were, in the 19th Century, all vying to be the big city on the river.

This copy is very nice, with a complete dust jacket with slight fading to the spine. The book is lightly toned. A former owner's name is on the half title, along with a penciled date from 1956.

DJ is protected by a Brodart cover. A great collectable copy of a very interesting book about the PNW. Near Fine / Very Good. Item #538
