London: J. Dodsley, 1777. "A New Edition" Hardcover in Two Volumes in Period brown leather tree-calf, spine gilt-stamped faux ribs with gilt-stamped title on black leather. A very well-preserved set in their original period tree-calf bindings. Volume one front cover hinge is separating but holding. On laid paper throughout including endpapers. Not overly toned or foxed, the text is very well-preserved. Some old bookworm damage evident to the rear cover of the first volume - gives it character in my opinion. A nice set. Very Good.
