Book is 8vo (6.5" x 8") with 229 pp. A rare copy of the Caxton-translated instruction for the daughters of a knight on behavior at court. This copy is rare as it is bound in parchment with yapp edges which is not seen typically. I have not found another copy for sale in this binding. Includes edits and a glossary from Gertrude Burford Rawlings. Illustrations which appear to be woodcuts or in that style are by Garth Jones.
This copy is in very good condition given its age and materials. There is some foxing to the end papers and preliminaries, as well as toning to the pages which are of a thick laid paper. No dust jacket. Very Good. Item #1206
