1929 "The Sleeping Librarian" Weighted Bronze-clad Bookends
Lakeland, FL: PM Craftsman, 1929. A very well-preserved set of brass-wrapped weighted bookends from Philadelphia Manufacturing. Bookends depict a sleeping librarian or scholar among his books, sleeping in a mission style Morris chair. Condition on both is excellent, and they retain their original manufacturing stickers on each. Great patina. Ready for display in your library!
